Full Time - 37.5 hours per week. Working 5 days from 7, flexible to suit the requirements of the role, including some evenings, weekends and public holidays.

The Aldingbourne Country Centre is a popular 26 Acre, Visitor Attraction located on the edge of the South Downs National Park offering a great day out for families to play, a state-of-the-art conference centre for people to meet and a welcoming café where everyone can eat.

With over 90,000 visitors a year, we pride ourselves on giving people a great experience in an attractive, creative and welcoming environment which includes state of the art buildings, open farm, various indoor and outdoor play areas, woodland walk, maze, camping fields and carparks.

We have exciting plans for the future and are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic individual to help keep our estate safe, legal, compliant and fully operational.

Supervising and developing a small but dynamic team, overseeing completing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, fixtures, fittings and building systems. Work closely with other team members to facilitate shared maintenance responsibilities.  Supervising and coordinating routine inspections of buildings and liaising with external specialists and contractors. 

Supported by the Visitor & Enterprise Operations Manager, Management Team and colleagues across the site, you will be required to develop excellent working relationships with Country Centre staff, volunteers, people we support with disabilities and visitors to the Country Centre.

Salary – £ 28,447.10 to £ 32,329.84 per annum depending on experience.

  • Hours of work – 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day) normally 8:30am – 4:30pm working 5 from 7 days to include some weekends and public holidays. Close for Christmas (dates to be confirmed annually )
